I really like cartoons, so to start this project, I looked on YouTube for some good cartoon clips. I've watched a lot of cartoons in my life (maybe too many) so it was hard to narrow it down, but eventually I decided on a The Amazing World of Gumball clip. I picked one from one of my favorite episode, which is about the hunt for an evil turtle one. The clip I found on YouTube (once you remove the credits) was about 4:40, the perfect length for this assignment.

There are a lot of interesting scenes in the clip, and plenty of dialogue. There are five characters who speak throughout, and a turtle that aggressively hisses in regular intervals. I also might add in some narration, but I'm still on the fence about that.

There are a lot of opportunities for interesting foley, too. For example, there are some explosions:

There are cars chases, foots steps, water features, ect. There is a lot to work with. I'm still debating cutting in some of the earlier episode, and cutting out some of the less dynamics scenes with video editing software before doing the work with the audio editor.

One thing about the clip I've chosen is that it's very difficult to construct an alternate narrative that still makes sense. The individual scenes are easier to twist then the whole narrative, so I'm probably going to break it up into scenes. Then, I'll construct alternative narratives/choose alternate vibes for each scene.
