  1. The standard resolution for images made for the web is 72 dpi.

  2. The standard resolution for images made for print is 300 dpi.

  3. You should always save the working (.psd) and sharable file (.png, .jpg). The working file allows for easy editing down the line. The sharable file is easily shared and opened by people without photoshop.
